Our history

Built on real-world experience

aidX AG was founded with a clear conviction: AI in healthcare only works if it operates at the professional level of its users — and if data protection is not a matter of compromise.

mentalhealthGPT developed based on real-world clinical and counseling experience. Our founder, Dr. Peter Wildhaber, combines psychological training, systemic counseling experience, and deep expertise in AI—and this background shapes every decision we make.

The result is a tool that speaks the language of psychotherapy professionals— while technically safeguarding clients’ privacy.

Dr. Peter Wildhaber

Ph.D. (Natural Sciences), ETH Zurich BSc in Psychology Systemic Counseling, ZHAW Zurich MBA in Management of Technology, EPFL & UNIL

Peter Wildhaber combines his training in psychology, his experience in systemic counseling, and his research on complex, self-organizing systems with AI—he is pursuing his Ph.D. at ETH Zurich. This intersection gave rise to aidX: not as a technology project, but as a response to real-world needs arising from clinical practice and demanding counseling contexts.

The work combines psychological training, systemic consulting practice, business experience, and the development of AI systems—with the aim of providing expert guidance on complex practical, leadership, and technology issues.
