Connect your Zoom account to aidX — and automatically transcribe therapy sessions right from within Zoom.

Connect your Zoom account

  1. Open aidX and go to Settings → Zoom
  2. Click "Connect Zoom Account"
  3. You will be redirected to Zoom—please log in and confirm the permissions
  4. After authorization, you will be automatically redirected back to aidX
  5. The status shows "Connected ✓" — from now on, transcription will start automatically for every meeting

Create a meeting

Open a file and go to the "Zoom" tab:

Select the date, time, and duration. Includes calendar export (ICS).

🔒 Security: The join link (Join URL) is stored in encrypted form (AES-256-GCM) and is never displayed in plain text.

Start transcription

  1. Start the meeting in the Zoom desktop client
  2. aidX automatically starts transcription in the background —no manual steps required
  3. After the meeting, you will find the full transcript in the dossier
🔒 Privacy: Audio data is processed exclusively in memory—no raw audio is stored. Only the encrypted transcript is saved in the file.

End Zoom call

  1. Open Settings → Zoom
  2. Click "Disconnect"
  3. aidX will immediately revoke the Zoom token and delete all login credentials

Existing transcripts in the file will remain intact—only Zoom access will be removed.

What zoom level is required?

No special setup is required—the integration works with any Zoom account, whether free or paid. mentalhealthGPT certified by Zoom as an official integration app.

Are Zoom recordings saved in aidX?

No. aidX does not store any audio or video data. Only the encrypted text transcript is stored in the file (AES-256-GCM, zero-knowledge architecture).

What happens if I disconnect from Zoom?

The OAuth token is immediately revoked by Zoom and deleted from the aidX database. Existing transcripts remain unchanged.

Is the integration GDPR-compliant?

Yes. All data is processed and stored in Switzerland. Audio data never leaves the secure processing environment. aidX complies with the requirements of the Swiss Data Protection Act (nDSG) and the GDPR.
